Austria defeated Jordan 3-1 in their Group Stage match at Levi's Stadium, San Francisco, on Tuesday, June 16.

R. Schmid opened the scoring for Austria in the 21st minute, assisted by X. Schlager. Jordan equalised in the 50th minute through A. Olwan, with N. Al Rawabdeh providing the assist. An own goal by Y. Al Arab in the 76th minute restored Austria's lead. M. Arnautovic converted a penalty in the 90+12th minute to seal the victory for Austria. M. Sabitzer of Austria received a yellow card in the 77th minute.
