Bosnia doubled their lead in the 34th minute with an own goal scored by M. Abunada. Qatar pulled one back before halftime when H. Al Haydos found the net in the 42nd minute, assisted by Edmilson Junior.

The second half saw fewer goals but continued action. E. Mahmic extended Bosnia's lead in the 80th minute, assisted by D. Hadzikadunic. Two yellow cards were issued, one to Ahmed Fathi of Qatar in the 78th minute, and another to Ermin Mahmić of Bosnia in the 82nd minute. Both teams made multiple substitutions as the game progressed.
