Côte d'Ivoire secured a 2-0 victory over Curaçao in a Group E match played at Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia on Thursday, June 25. Nicolas Pépé scored both goals for Côte d'Ivoire.

Pépé opened the scoring in the 7th minute from open play, assisted by Yan Diomande. He then doubled his side's lead in the 64th minute, again from open play, with Ibrahim Sangaré providing the assist. Pépé also received a yellow card in the 35th minute.

Curaçao had two players booked in the second half, with Juninho Bacuna receiving a yellow card in the 75th minute and Gervane Kastaneer shown a yellow in the 83rd minute. Curaçao made five substitutions, while Côte d'Ivoire made their full complement of five changes during the match.
