Nico Elvedi received a yellow card for Switzerland in the 65th minute.

The scoring began in the 74th minute when Johan Manzambi put Switzerland ahead. Rubén Vargas, assisted by Breel Embolo, doubled Switzerland's lead in the 84th minute. Bosnia's situation worsened when Tarik Muharemović received a red card in the 80th minute.

Manzambi scored his second goal in the 90th minute, assisted by Rubén Vargas, making it 3-0. Bosnia managed to get on the scoresheet in the 90+3rd minute through Ermin Mahmić. However, Switzerland extended their lead further in the 90+7th minute with a penalty converted by Granit Xhaka, bringing the final score to 4-1.
