    Notable absentees

Canada are co-hosts and play ALL THREE group matches at home: vs Bosnia on June 12 at BMO Field in Toronto, vs Qatar on June 18 at BC Place in Vancouver, and vs Switzerland on June 24 at BC Place in Vancouver. Captain Alphonso Davies was included despite a hamstring injury suffered in Bayern Munich's Champions League semi-final loss to PSG — he's racing to be fit for the opener. Davies previously missed eight months with an ACL tear (October 2025–2026). EIGHT MLS players are in the squad, and 10 of the 26 (38%) developed in MLS. Jesse Marsch — the first American to coach Canada at a World Cup — called this "our best group of 26 players that this country has ever assembled."
