Germany recorded a comprehensive 7-1 victory against Curaçao in their Group Stage match at the NRG Stadium, Houston on Sunday, June 14.

Felix Nmecha opened the scoring for Germany in the 6th minute, assisted by Florian Wirtz. Curaçao responded in the 21st minute with a goal from Livano Comenencia. Germany then re-established their lead through Nico Schlotterbeck in the 38th minute, with Nathaniel Brown providing the assist, before Kai Havertz converted a penalty in the 45th minute to make it 3-1 at half-time.

The second half saw Germany extend their advantage significantly. Jamal Musiala scored in the 47th minute, assisted by Joshua Kimmich. Nathaniel Brown added another goal for Germany in the 68th minute, assisted by Deniz Undav, who then scored himself in the 78th minute assisted by Joshua Kimmich. Kai Havertz rounded off the scoring in the 88th minute, once again assisted by Deniz Undav.

Substitutions for Curaçao included Jeremy Antonisse replacing Sontje Hansen at 46 minutes, Jearl Margaritha coming on for Jürgen Locadia at 64 minutes, and Gervane Kastaneer replacing Tahith Chong at 83 minutes. Germany made five changes: Deniz Undav replaced Jamal Musiala at 64 minutes, and a triple substitution at 73 minutes saw David Raum replace Nathaniel Brown, Antonio Rüdiger replace Jonathan Tah, and Leon Goretzka replace Felix Nmecha. Finally, Waldemar Anton came on for Joshua Kimmich at 83 minutes.
